N2 protest: Municipality to meet with Murchison community
Updated | By Portia Cele
Officials from the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality are today planning to meet with disgruntled community members, who've closed the N2 between Boboyi and Murchison - that's on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

Protesters have again blockaded the route this morning with boulders, and rubble - causing major delays to traffic.
Police yesterday resorted to using rubber bullets and teargas to disperse crowds.
The municipality's Simon April says the protesters are now calling for the release of those arrested during yesterday's unrest.
"Police are trying to man the situation and to ensure that the road is opened. It's difficult since the road goes through the houses. They hide behind those houses and then throw stones at the police."
