More trucks torched in KZN

At least two more trucks have been torched on the province's roads, as violent protest action in the freight sector continues to grip parts of South Africa.
Spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the vehicles were stoned and then petrol bombed.

He says the vehicles appear to have been following each other. The attackers allegedly positioned themselves on an overhead bridge and threw objects at the vehicles.Authorities have finished recovering the wreckages and the northbound carriageway has since been reopened.

The N3 Toll Concession says all protest action in the vicinity of the Mooi River Toll Plaza has been cleared and traffic is free-flowing.

The trucking industry has been sent into turmoil this week, with dozens of vehicles targeted across South Africa.
