The suspect arrested in connection with the disappearance of Miguel Louw had to be escorted out of the Durban Magistrate's Court by police, as tensions ran high after today's proceedings.
Mohammed Ebrahim was arrested a few days after the 10-year-old Sydenham boy went missing.
Proceedings got underway today with the State requesting a postponement in the case until early December, as investigations continue.

Tensions then escalated outside the court. The family is upset that Ebrahim remains out on bail and has not yet been charged for Miguel's death.
The accused waited at the cafeteria inside the courthouse as dozens of people gathered in the gardens outside - seemingly blocking his exit.
Miguel’s father, Kirk, then entered the building and walked straight for Ebrahim, but the accused disappeared down the corridor.
He is due back in court on December 5.
