The 10 people who survived a recent horrific multi-vehicle crash in Newcastle - are still receiving treatment in hospital.

Five people, who’d travelled from Gauteng in a taxi, lost their lives when their vehicle collided with two trucks and a car on the N11 on Thursday morning.
The Transport MEC’s expected to visit their families today.
"The MEC will also visit those who were injured in the crash - at Madadeni Hospital. The department is already working with the families of the deceased to ensure that they are given a dignified burial. The Road Accident Fund is also in touch with all those who were injured to ensure that they are supported and given adequate medical care, even after they have been discharged from hospital," the department’s Mluleki Mntungwa said.
