Mchunu appears in good spirits following health scare
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
KZN Premier Willies Mchunu has spoken to the media following his collapse earlier while delivering the SOPA - at the Royal Show Grounds.
He was rushed to Greys Hospital where tests were done on him and doctors found nothing wrong.
Upon return, he dismissed suggestions he's pushing himself too much and says it could just be exhaustion.
"When you go through detentions, go out and continue from where you left off, you go through the violence that we've had in KwaZulu-Natal. There have been many traumatising episodes in KZN. But we have gone through them. Even today, I don't think there's too much pushing," he said.
The Premier of the province returned unexpectedly to the venue. His official vehicle was seen coming through the gates. He disembarked but this time he seemed a lot happier, jovial - and in a lighter mood.

When making his way down the red carpet, he greeted and made small conversations with politicians, general personnel and members from the media.
During his interactions, he pointed out that it's something that comes and goes and nothing to be taken seriously.
