Mass memorial for uMsunduzi crash victims

A mass funeral for the 20 people killed in the horrific minibus crash near Msunduzi Valley will take place in KwaXimba, near Cato Ridge on Saturday.
The minibus veered off the road and crashed down an embankment on Sunday.
A preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle was overloaded and had brake problems.

The Transport MEC confirmed the funeral arrangements after meeting with the victims' families.
Transport's Kwanele Ncalane says a mass memorial will be held at the Inkosi Manzolwandle Sports Ground.
"We are going to be assisting fully to ensure that families are able to bury their loved ones in a dignified manner," he says.
