A man's been
arrested in connection with the murder of UKZN student Sinethemba Ndlovu.

The
22-year-old Ndlovu, who'd been working as a hostess at an event in Msinga, was
stabbed twice while walking home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Her aunt, Lucy Dimba says the family is still in shock.
"We are happy that there has been an arrest. We are still not understanding why will a man first, punch a woman and after that stab a woman twice. It's just hard to understand that. What kind of a man does such things?" Dimba questioned.
While the motive for Ndlovu's murder isn't known, it’s understood the business administration student was stabbed because she refused the suspect's advances:
"The mother is just beyond, I can't even explain how she is now and the family. [Sinethemba] was a very friendly person, always smiling, down to earth person, who had a very bright future. I think that’s what made the guy that killed her very angry, because she spoke her mind,” she said.
