Police on the hunt for Sinethemba Ndlovu's killer
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect wanted in connection with the murder of University of KwaZulu-Natal student, Sinethemba Ndlovu.
Initial indications are that Ndlovu, who had been working at an event in Msinga, was stabbed while walking home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood the Business Administration student was attacked because she refused the suspect's advances.
The victim was allegedly attacked out of revenge.
"A 30-year-old man was stabbed with a beer bottle. He was declared dead at the scene by paramedics," she said.
"He was suspected of killing a woman whose body was found decomposed. The circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated."
Meanwhile, gender-based violence is one of the issues the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are addressing on their visit to South Africa.
They are calling on all people to respect women.
The Royals visited an NGO in Nyanga, near Cape Town yesterday.
Prince Harry echoed the sentiments shared by President Cyril Ramaphosa recently when he said that no man is born to harm women.

In a separate case also in KwaZulu-Natal, there is also an ongoing search for a murder suspect in Clermont, west of Durban.The victim was allegedly attacked out of revenge.
He was suspected to have murdered his own girlfriend.
