Man accused of selling drugs to Phoenix pupils due in court

A suspected dealer allegedly caught selling drugs to schoolchildren in Phoenix in northern Durban is due to appear in court.
The KwaZulu-Natal Hawks say they were tipped off about the alleged illegal activity.
They swooped in on the man on Foresthaven Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

"Then they operationalised the information which led to the arrest of a 28-year-old suspect, who was found in possession of heroine capsules, cash and cell phone was also sealed for further investigation," says the unit's Bonnie Nxumalo.
"His appearing today (Wednesday) in the Phoenix Magistrate's Court where he is facing charges of dealing with drugs, contravening the immigration act and possession of drugs.
"He was also found to be in the country illegally since he did not have the permit.”
