LISTEN: Call made for Public Protector to step down
Several organisations are marching to the Office of the Public Protector today to call for her to step down.
Busisiwe Mkhwebane has lost a number of legal battles recently, with some judgements delivered with cost orders against her.

There has also been growing criticism of her level of competence.The organisations are marching as the Concerned Citizens Alliance and believe the longer Mkhwebane is in office, the longer the reputation of her office is undermined.
The alliance's Hangwi Maumela says the Public Protector has lost focus of her primary mandate.
