KZN taxi associations urged to set aside differences
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
Santaco's calling on warring taxi associations in KZN to stop fighting.
Sfiso Ntshangase with the National Taxi Council in KZN says the violence over disputed routes has gone to far.
"We're trying to come up with an amicable resolution for both associations so that eventually we are all speaking in one voice - saying this is the correct direction to follow. It's a matter that happened so quickly.
"Last week, Santaco was in that area but unfortunately, we didn't foresee that the situation would unfold to an extent where we have casualties," he says.
