KZN motorists relieved as fuel prices drop
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
Customers are now paying R1,84 less for a litre of petrol.

It is also good news for diesel-users, the cost per litre has dropped by R1,45 and R1,47.
The fuel price adjustments kicked in this morning and will only change again in the new year.
KwaZulu-Natal motorists say the price cuts will bring some much-needed relief to many people over Christmas.
"I think any amount of money you can save will help, especially if it's going down by such an amount," one motorist said.
"R1,80 is really negligible especially when buying 50 litres. What's that - like R90. It's not going to make the biggest difference in one tank but three tanks later, you have R300 and that's a meal," another motorist said.
But one commuter who relies on public transport, says a price cut at the pumps does not necessarily mean cheaper taxi fares.
"When you think of it as someone who takes transport every day to work, it doesn't help us a lot because the prices stay the same at the taxis," he said.
Some consumers also feel the drop will not have a lasting effect.

"I think that we will see specials over Christmas for the consumer however, I don't think it's really going to impact positively on our overall cost of living," she said.
