KZN man suspected of killing twin brother to remain in custody

The 20-year-old man suspected of killing his own twin brother near Msinga in central KwaZulu-Natal has been ordered to remain behind bars.

Police say the suspect, whose case was postponed yesterday, allegedly stabbed his bother multiple times after an argument in the Keats Drift area, north of Greytown at the weekend.

SAPS spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the victim died at the scene.

"Police were called out to attend to the scene. On arrival, they arrested the 20-year-old suspect," said Zwane.

He says the man has been charged with murder.

"A sharp instrument was used to stab the brother," he said.

The motive for the attack and the cause of the argument is still unknown at this stage.
