A driver who paid for fuel with fake money at a Verulam petrol station is due in court on Monday.
The 55-year-old man was arrested on Saturday.
He'd apparently filled up his bakkie as well as several plastic drums with fuel that amounted to R4 800.

Reaction Unit SA's Prem Balram says he claimed to have not known the R100 notes were counterfeit.
"During an interview with reaction officers, the suspect informed us that he sold a cow for the R10 100 and he used the same money to pay for the fuel. According to him, he was unaware that the money was counterfeit."
KZN police say the man faces a theft charge at the Verulam Magistrate Court.
