KwaZulu-Natal Health says it will take swift action if it finds there was any wrong-doing by staff at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, after a body was discovered in the hospital's ceiling last week.

The department says the man was a builder from Inanda and was reported missing earlier this month.
Officials say he arrived at the Phoenix hospital with a broken leg and had been due to be transferred to Addington Hospital for medical assistance.
