Man's body found in Phoenix hospital ceiling
The decomposed body of a man has been found in the ceiling of the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Phoenix, north of Durban.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the search and rescue unit was called out to the hospital's trauma unit, where the body was found earlier today.
"We have opened a case of inquest. It is not known at this stage as to how the person ended up in the ceiling."
Zwane says the matter is still under investigation.

"It is not yet clear whether he was a patient at the hospital or not," Zwane said.
