KZN ANC official slammed for Islamophobic comment
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
The DA in KZN is demanding an apology from ANC MPL, Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu, accusing her of Islamophobia.

The DA says Simelane-Zulu insulted a Muslim party member. The opposition party's Imran Keeka says the Comments were directed at his religious attire during Friday’s sitting of the provincial legislature.
"The honourable Simelane-Zulu had made mention of me when she said that 'what kind of a man wears a hat and a dress'. She directly insulted the Muslim garment, I took great offence to this," he says.
