KZN ANC anticipates another delay for elective conference

The African National Congress in KwaZulu-Natal says it foresees another delay to the eThekwini Regional Conference.

The party had initially planned the conference for December but has moved to next month or March.

Provincial spokesperson, Ricardo Mthembu says the delays are being caused by a membership system that has been introduced by the NEC.

"As a province, we are certain that the conferences are going to sit per road map, but as I am saying we are anticipating that we are going to be diverted due to the fact that National has introduced the new system."
