IEC includes Zuma on final candidates list following court ruling
The Independent Electoral Commission has honoured the Electoral Court's ruling on former president Jacob Zuma.
It's kept his name on the final candidate list for the 2024 national and provincial elections.
It published the list on its website on Wednesday afternoon.

The commission had previously excluded Zuma from the contest due to his 2021 conviction for contempt and 15-month sentence.
On Tuesday, the Electoral Court overturned Zuma's disqualification from running for Parliament in next month’s general election on the newly formed uMkhonto we Sizwe Party’s ticket.
