Horror weekend on KZN roads: Five killed in three crashes

It has been a tragic weekend on KwaZulu-Natal's roads. Five people have been killed in separate crashes since Saturday night.
Two people have been killed in a head-on collision between two cars near Osizweni, east of Newcastle in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Medics say the drivers from both vehicles died before they reached the scene.A passenger from one of the vehicles was seriously hurt.
The KwaZulu Private Ambulance says the passenger was stabilised on scene before being taken to hospital.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
Meanwhile, two people were killed in a separate incident this morning when a vehicle rolled near Folweni, south of Durban.
Three others were hurt in the crash.
In a third incident last night, a pedestrian has been killed after being knocked over on the M13 near the Village Road on-ramp in Kloof. Emergency services say the man,believed to be in his early 20s, was struck by a bakkie on the Durban-bound carriageway last night.
