Funds to be released to KZN - Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa says he's concluded talks with National Treasury and has signed off on the release of funds to help out flood-stricken KZN.
He's confirmed that the funds are now available and that for now work is under the funds proper release.
A state of disaster has declared for KZN in order for the funds to be released.
Ramaphosa says the immediate needs of affected communities is what needs to be prioritised.

"Money is there and that is going to happen, so money is not going to be a problem as I said the other day we are going to be doing so.
"It just needs two to three days and the assessment needs to take place and immediate things we have to go is to provide services to our people, people don't have water.
"We are going to lay out water tanks where we cannot repair the taps or the pipes and we are doing to ensure that people get shelter."
Ramaphosa has called on South Africans to pray for the people of KZN.
He attended a Good Friday church service at the Alshaddai Terbenecle International Church in Ermelo on Friday.

Authorities have confirmed death toll from the storms and floods has gone up to 395.
The president described the KZN floods as a massive disaster.
"The floods and rains that has come down on our people in KwaZulu-Natal has caused a lot of devastation and havoc and it is a catastrophe of enormous proportions that we have not seen before."
