Rina Deysel says their two-year-old daughter was the apple of her father's eye.

"His house was basically a secure little kingdom. He was a very private person, affectionate in everything he was doing but very lovable. He absolutely adores his little girl because she was everything to him," she said.

59-year-old Deysel, a long-serving metro cop, died tragically on Friday near Galleria Mall while trying to flag down a taxi during a police operation.
