Residents at informal settlements who lost their dwellings through fire have begun rebuilding their homes.
Last week, fires tore through 200 homes in the informal settlements of Redhill, KwaMashu and Sydenham in Durban.
MEC for KZN Social Development Nonhlanhla Khoza together with the EThekwini Municipality today reached out to the affected communities with building material.
"Having planned together with eThekwini Municipality and Social Development. We have said let us bring some items," says Khoza.
