Durban hospital to beef up security following armed robbery

Durban's St Augustine's Hospital says it is in the process of beefing up security at the facility.
This after an armed robbery there in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"We have engaged with all our staff, security personnel and patients and we have offered them counselling," said Murphy.
"We would like to reassure our patients, doctors and the community out there that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of all people who use these premises."
Four criminals held staff and patients up at gun point.

They made off with their belongings, TV screens, coffee machines and microwaves.A staff member was assaulted and a security guard was hit on the head.
