Simon Zwane who's with the Road Traffic Management Corporation says they're horrified and concerned by the number of pedestrian road deaths.
"Our statistics are showing that 38% of people dying on the roads are pedestrians. The investigating officer and the prosecutor must oppose bail. Reckless and negligent driving, and hit-and-run incidents are far too many. These incidents are claiming far too many lives. It's about time we become serious about stopping road fatalities."
