Double rape accused to appear in court

A Verulam man accused of raping two children - including his step-sister - is expected to appear in court on Monday.
The 34-year-old was arrested at his home on Saturday.
It's understood the suspect arrived at his father's home to visit his 11-year-old sister while her parents were house.
The child is said to have told a neighbour that she didn't want to be left alone with her step-brother as she feared he would attack her again.

She allegedly told the neighbour the man had also repeatedly raped her eight-year-old friend.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa, news of the alleged rapes spread around the community - with knife and golf club-wielding residents later gathering outside the suspect's Waterloo home, threatening to take matters into their own hands.
Police were called, and the man was taken into custody.
