Culpable homicide case opened following Tongaat taxi crash

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death three people, including a 4-month-old baby, near Tongaat north of Durban this morning.
A fully-laden taxi had been travelling on the N2 between Tongaat and Ballito on the north coast when it veered off the road and rolled down an embankment.

Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the cause of the accident is being investigated.Zwane says around 10 others were hurt and taken to hospital for treatment.

He confirmed that three counts of culpable homicide are being investigated.No arrests have been made.
