Court forbids Durban woman accused of son's murder to contact father

The court has ordered a Durban mother accused of suffocating her seven-year-old son to death has been not to communicate with the boy's father.
Megan Prins from Morningside - allegedly drugged and smothered her son, Sloan, at an Umhlanga guest house last month.
Police say Prins then tried to take her own life.
She made her third appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court today - the case was postponed to next month.
The court has heard from the state today that it's been privy to a recording of a telephonic conversation between Prins and her son's father which Public Prosecutor, Vineshree Moodley has described as very aggressive and awash with expletives.
The 34-year-old woman had, through her lawyer, denied having contacted the man except for asking him for some clothes and toys.

But Magistrate Mohammed Motala has ordered her to cut communication completely.
It's understood that the man might be called as a state witness at a later stage.
