Cops make second arrest in murder investigation of Chatsworth woman

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of an elderly Chatsworth woman.
Jinsee Hairam, 72, was attacked and strangled to death in her Kharwastan home on Tuesday.
It is alleged that on the day, four suspects invaded Hairam's home, before attacking her and her daughter.

The police say a 33-year-old suspect was arrested in Ndwedwe, north of Durban this morning.
The first suspect was apprehended near Greyville yesterday.

KZN police spokesperson, Jay Naicker says: "Police recovered a small amount of cash together with a cellular phone from the suspect's possession."
"The 33-year-old man will appear with his co-accused at the Chatsworth Magistrates Court tomorrow facing charges of murder and house robbery."
