Colleague pays tribute to man killed in Durban court shooting

The business partner of the Durban man who was shot dead along with his sister inside the Durban Magistrates Court - says family was extremely important to him and that he was in court to support his sister.

32-year-old Phumlani Chiliza stationed in KwaMashu allegedly shot his wife Dibuseng Moss Chiliza and her brother, Gert Remoratile Moss before turning the gun on himself during divorce proceedings in O court on the eighth floor this week. 

Moss and his sister were declared dead on scene while Chiliza died in hospital. 

Speaking to Newswatch from Bangkok, Gert Moss's business partner, Fanie Ndlovu says that Moss was a man with a big and giving heart who loved to help students.

The 26-year-old graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology from the Durban University of Technology last year and joined Ndlovu in a programme that helps students acquire NSFAS funding.

Ndlovu says they have been shattered by the loss and still cannot believe that Moss has been killed.  

He says his love of family and his ability to help people will forever be remembered.
