Family says woman in Durban court shooting 'loving, hard-working'

The family of the woman allegedly shot dead by her husband inside the Durban Magistrate's Court says she had done everything to give her children a prosperous life - but that dream has now been shattered.

32-year-old Phumlani Chiliza - a police officer stationed at KwaMashu SAPS - allegedly shot his wife - Dibuseng Moss-Chiliza and her brother, Gert Moss, before turning the gun on himself during divorce proceedings.
A family member who asked to remain anonymous has told Newswatch that the couple had a 10-year-old daughter together.
The family member says Moss-Chiliza who lived in Johannesburg had been the one who instituted divorce proceedings. She said Moss-Chiliza co-founded a real estate company and worked hard to achieve what she had.
She described Moss-Chiliza as a loving person.

Meanwhile police say investigations into the shooting continue.
