Breakthrough in KwaMashu fatal shooting
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Police investigating yesterday's fatal shooting at a hostel in KwaMashu have made a breakthrough.

One suspect has been arrested and two firearms recovered.
Spokesperson Jay Naicker says the 25-year-old man was nabbed in KwaMashu last night.
''He has been taken into custody and his firearms have been seized. The firearms will be subjected to ballistic tests to confirm that they are involved in the killings that took place yesterday.
''Meanwhile, the suspect has been detained on charges of being in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition while his involvement in the murder is currently under investigation.
''We do believe there will be more arrests as it was reported that there was quite a number of people involved in the attack,'' he said.
Five people were gunned down at about 7am yesterday when the suspects stormed a room at the hostel in A-section. Three of the victims died on scene while a fourth died in hospital.
The body of a fifth man, believed to be one of the attackers, was found near the scene.
