It’s day one of the trial of Darryl Murrison and Christopher Housten  - who are accused of Bianca Parsons murder.

It's alleged the accountant was killed in a case of mistaken identity.

Her husband, Orson Parsons took the stand today and recounted the moment his wife dropped to the ground after being shot and the look on his daughter's face.

There wasn't a dry eye in the courtroom when chilling  footage of Parson's murder was played by Senior State Prosecutor, Calvin Singh.

The footage briefly shows Murrison shoot into Parsons' car after inspecting two red cars that were parked at the filling station.

Parsons is seen getting out of her car and walking to back of the vehicle before collapsing.

Her husband, Orson - who was inside the garage shop at the time then rushes out.

He opens the back door of their car to check on their daughter and then goes to Parsons - bending down to pick her up and hold her hand.

After the video was played, Orson told the court, he heard what sounded like two firecrackers and saw his wife get out of the car.

He says after opening the back passenger door - their daughter - who had earlier been sleeping - stared at him wide-eyed and didn’t make a sound.

Raymond Mkhize, the first police officer to respond - was called up as a second witness.

Mkhize told the court when he got to the scene, he found Orson inconsolable, holding Parsons' bloodied body and calling out her name over and over.

He says she was still alive then and the ambulance was called.

The trial continues.
