She is currently out on a warning. The mother is facing a charge of child abuse - after her baby was found abandoned by a nurse from Avoca Hills.
The suspect was traced through medication left with the child, and was found in an informal settlement in Hillcrest.
The woman left this note attached to the baby - explaining why she abandoned him.

She's due to appear in court again on the 13th of March - to allow for further investigation and more statements to be taken.
If found guilty - the woman could face up to 10-years behind bars.
