Agriculture: Swine fever outbreak not yet in KZN

The Department of Agriculture says residents of KwaZulu-Natal should not panic as yet, following an outbreak of swine fever in the Northern Cape.

The department says it's been inundated with calls, some from abroad, after scores of pigs died on a farm in Campbell outside Kimberley.

The department's Zandisile Luphahla says the commercial farm is under quarantine.
