KZN school shut down following swine flu case

Richards Bay Primary School has been closed following a confirmed case of swine flu.

The child is said to be in a stable condition.

KZN education spokesperson, Muzi Mahlambi says the school has been shut a safety precaution.
'We are told that the school has a confirmed case and has taken necessary steps and protocol to deal with the matter. Parents were alerted and the school is also working together with the clinic in the area".

Mahlambi says the school and the health department are managing the situation.
