Members of Shack-dwellers Movement, Abahlali BaseMjondolo have given eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede a deadline to respond to their list of demands.

The group's Sbu Zikode says they're giving the Mayor's Office a period of seven days.
"This memorandum is received without conscious. Abahlali BaseMjondolo Movement South Africa will consider engaging in non-stop protests," he said.
A memorandum was handed over after more than a thousand people marched from Durban's Curries Fountain to City Hall yesterday.
They're demanding jobs, housing and access to basic services. The group is also calling for an end to brutal evictions.
They also say many residents have been subject to brutal and violent evictions at informal settlements in and around the city.
