Viola Davis is on the verge of joining a small group of people who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony (EGOT).

The Grammys announced the list of nominees on Tuesday, and the 57-year-old received a nod in the 'Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording' category.

Viola's memoir, 'Finding Me', is nominated alongside:

  • 'Act Like You Got Some Sense' by Jamie Foxx
  • 'All About Me!: My Remarkable Life In Show Business' by Mel Brooks
  • 'Aristotle And Dante Dive Into The Waters Of The World' by Lin-Manuel Miranda
  • 'Music Is History' by Questlove

Viola already has the 'Triple Crown of Acting' after winning a 'Best Supporting Actress' Oscar in 2016, two Tony awards (2001, 2010), and an Emmy (2015).

A win at the 2023 Grammys will earn 'The Woman King' star EGOT status. She will become one of only 18 people to achieve the feat.

Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson became lucky #17 in 2022 when she won a Tony in June for 'A Strange Loop'.

Other stars with EGOT status include Audrey Hepburn, John Legend, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rita Moreno.
