Trevor Noah and Charlize Theron visited school children in Cape Town on Monday for an epic surprise.

The A-list stars stopped by Oaklands High during a tour with Salesian Life Choices - an organisation that helps youth in the Cape Flats.

Trevor Noah shared a video from one of the classrooms that showed him, and Charlize, learning a dance along with pupils.

"Joining @charlizeafrica @chelseahandler and the coolest teacher Nkosana in the most fun classroom, learning things I wish I had learned about in school. At the end of the lesson they end with an African Haka!" he wrote.

USA comedian Chelsey Handler was also part of the tour.

The trio also visited a mobile clinic and Life Choice's new academy that helps young entrepreneurs, and had a coding class.

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) supports some of the organisation's programs.

Charlize, Trevor, and Chelsea also visited a group of young women in East London on Tuesday, who are "working to break the cycle of poverty, abuse, and HIV infection".

"Black women are the most vulnerable and often the most underserved in the world but Black women are also the most resilient. Today with @charlizeafrica and @chelseahandler we're learning about the challenges these women face and the progress they've made in determining their own future with the help of the CTAOP," Trevor wrote on Instagram.
