"I discovered two people on my team had been stealing and doing all sorts of dodgy things to block opportunities from me," Sho Madjozi reveals.

Sho Madjozi is back on social media after taking a two-month hiatus. She last shared a post on Instagram in early December. She broke her silence in February to pay tribute to the late Riky Rick.

The singer took to Twitter this week to share a thread about why she has been MIA.

Before getting into the details, she had to clear up one thing.

"First things first, I’m not pregnant. Let’s just start there," she wrote.

The 'John Cena' hitmaker then went on to reveal that some on her team betrayed her in one of the worst possible ways.

"Thank you to everyone that has been checking on me. I was dealing with some hurt and confusion. I discovered 2 people on my team trying to steal which led me to discover all sorts of dodgy things they had been doing to block my opportunities for over a year," she wrote.

The 29-year-old added that she now has a new management team. She also revealed that she has new music on the way.

"I won’t say I’m completely fine. Swa vava cos I come from way back with those people. But I have enjoyed taking time for myself & I have too many things to be excited about. I’ve got new management, I’m looking cute, my new music sounds maddd and I can’t wait to roll it out."

While Sho Madjozi is ready to get back into the swing of things, she does not regret her social media break.

"In general I still strongly advocate for long social media breaks. Social media is great but I also find it extremely heavy and distracting. If you’re like me, it’s ok. You’re a soft, living thing. We aren’t really built to be inundated by an endless stream of interaction," she wrote.

Sho Madjozi did not specify when her new music will be dropping, but Tanzanian singer Nandy just released a new song called 'Kunjani', featuring the rapper.

Sho raps a Swahili verse on the track. The single's official video premiered on YouTube this week.
