Rob Kardashian shares why he doesn't film anymore
Rob Kardashian is clearing up a few rumours in his first interview in years.
Rob Kardashian has revealed why he no longer appears on his family's popular reality show, 'The Kardashians'.
The 38-year-old, who is the youngest of Kris Jenner's children with Robert Kardashian Sr., is rarely spotted out in public these days and has only shared a few pictures of himself on social media.
His Instagram account is mainly dedicated to his daughter, Dream Kardashian, whom he shares with Angela 'Blac Chyna' White.
"I don't want to be filming and putting myself in a position where I'm not comfortable. I'm not comfortable in my skin. So, why would I want to go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in?" he told his sister Khloé Kardashian.
They were speaking during the latest episode of her video podcast, 'Khloé in Wonderland'.
Khloé was clearing up rumours about herself and her family on her episode. She decided to give Rob a call to set the record straight on some of the things people think about him.
"That's just how I've been. I'm not just going to put myself out there if I'm not comfortable with myself. I haven't been comfortable with myself in years, and also filming and doing all that, it's not for everybody," he continued.
"And I choose my own happiness and peace rather than just filming for somebody who doesn't do anything for me in my personal life."
Rob hasn't completely ruled out filming. He says he loves being in front of the camera "if it's positive."
"I like being around my family."
Rob and Khloé have a special bond, so it's no surprise that he agreed to his big sister's exclusive interview.
He also confirmed that out of all his siblings, he is closest to the Good American founder.
His other siblings are Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
"Our kids are together every day, we carpool, we eat dinner together, so it's just natural. We're definitely the closest," Rob said about their relationship.
He also opened up about how fatherhood has changed him.
"It's definitely made me more grounded. Instead of focusing my energy on a lot of other things, I'm all about my daughter... I'm very lucky. Dream makes it easy. She's very smart and she's a good kid."
Before hanging up, he addressed another big rumour: Who is Rob Kardashian dating?
"I just talk to people," he said. "I'm good at talking to people, but also there come moments when I am like, okay I can't talk to anybody. It's too much energy. I am talking to too many people. I don't want to be like that.
"And also, I have a daughter. I'm trying to be a good example. I don't bring girls in the house. I don't have girls meet my daughter."
Rob says he has gone on a few dates but has been single since his daughter was born eight years ago.
"I still have fun and I enjoy my life, I just don't care to be dating somebody, honestly, unless it just happens. It just hasn't happened."
