Blac Chyna has quashed claims that she paid for her honorary doctorate.

The 35-year-old shocked her fans earlier this year when she announced: "On January 17, 2023 I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College."

She received major flak at the time, as many questioned what she did to receive the honour.

"She might have paid for it. Y’all know she ain’t that bright," one Instagram user commented.

Another user wrote: "A doctorate. Suuure. Where is your published thesis? That's where the blood, sweat, and tears go. Doctoral degrees take years of hard work and dedication. This is deceiving and intentionally misleading."

Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renée White, has clapped back at her haters in a new interview on the 'Caresha Please' podcast.

"Anybody can get doctorate degrees. Like, Oprah Winfrey got one, Denzel Washington, and a few other people. It's different colleges that can nominate you.

"And they go and advocate for you, everything that you've done in your career, and then you are granted it from that college. It just so happened to be a bible college," she told host Yung Miami.

She stressed that she "definitely didn't pay for it". "I'll be walking in June," she said about her upcoming graduation ceremony.

Blac Chyna Baptised

Yung Miami asked Blac Chyna if she formally attended Bible college. Chyna indicated that she did not but explained that she didn't need to based on how honorary doctorates are granted.

There was some confusion amongst her fans in the past as many thought she secretly attended after getting baptised in 2022.

"I was reborn on my birthday 5-11-22.  I was watching the video again and wanted to show you this because if you look closely at my mouth you can hear the spirits leaving my body. God is Good," she captioned a video she shared on Instagram in March 2023.

Blac Chyna new look

Since embarking on her spiritual journey, Blac Chyna has made many changes to her life. She no longer dresses as proactively as she did in the past and is changing her overall look.

Chyna recently got a breast reduction and removed her butt implants. She also dissolved her facial fillers and removed a demonology tattoo from her body

The former Only Fans star says there wasn't a specific event that made her embark on her spiritual journey.

"I just honestly started to pour into myself because for years I always poured into everybody else... I always looked for validation from people and from materialistic things, looks, hair, and nails... Now that I am getting older, I'm trying to figure out who is Angela?" she told Yung Miami.

She now goes by Angela, but still uses Blac Chyna for work.
