Pop the bubbly! Is Bonang Matheba celebrating Nathi Mthethwa's exit?

Bonang Matheba has made no secret of the fact that she dislikes South Africa's so-called Minister of Funerals and Congratulations, Nathi Mthethwa.

So, naturally, Queen B would be thrilled to learn that President Cyril Ramaphosa gave him the boot during his recent Cabinet reshuffle. 

"Wonderful," she tweeted after Ramaphosa's announcement. While she did not mention Mthethwa's name, the message was clear. 

One fan said she "must be the happiest girl" on Twitter.  

Another user added: "Wherever Bonang is @Bonang ,Queen B, must be at her happiest, she fought a good fight against former Min Nathi Mthethwa."

Queen B has criticised Nathi Mthethwa on several occasions over the years. She called the minister "useless" in 2022 after he congratulated Banyana Banyana on their WAFCON win. 

Matheba joined social media users in slamming the then Sports, Arts, and Culture Minister for not doing enough to support female footballers - many of whom are forced to work 9-5 jobs as they are not paid enough. 

"Please. These girls deserve MONEY! Open. Your. Wallet. Akere you want an orchestra?!! So damn useless!! Resign," the 35-year-old tweeted.

She also called for him to be fired after hearing about his department's plans for a monumental R22-million South African flag.

"Fire this man. Please," the House of BNG bubbly founder tweeted. Queen B added in another post: "You have no clue what you’re doing. Go away!"

 Zizi Kodwa is taking over the reins from Mthethwa. The new Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture has his work cut out for him.

And Queen B will no doubt have her eyes on him. Bassop!
