Award-winning social media influencer Kefilwe Mabote is the envy of many women who dream of living in the lap of luxury.

But there is more to the 33-year-old than fancy cars, private planes, Jimmy Choo heels, and designer bags

Kefilwe has previously been linked to controversial businessman Edwin Sodi. Many questioned if the millionaire was footing the bill for her lavish lifestyle. The pair called it quits early last year.

Speaking to Drum magazine, Kefilwe says one of the biggest misconceptions about her lifestyle is that it is sponsored by a rich man.

"It couldn’t be further from the truth. I work really hard and put in the hours,” she told the publication.

While it has become the norm for some influencers to get a "girlfriend allowance" from their rich boyfriends, or enjoy the luxurious fruits of being a slay queen, Kefilwe says she is no gold digger.

She even went as far as trying to sue a local publication for R1-million after she was referred to as a slay queen.

But what does Kefilwe Mabote do for a living? Aside from her sponsorship deals as an influencer, she is also an entrepreneur.

Kefilwe launched a luxury women’s suit brand in 2021 called FEYTH - which is pronounced like her second name Faith.

"Super proud to announce my new business endeavour FEYTH specialising in designing bespoke luxury women’s suits using the best quality craftsmen. Made in Italy, quality is at the forefront in making sure the garments exude power and class," she wrote on Instagram

She is also expanding her brand to include property management and development.

"God has been great! The listings I’ve secured so far have been exactly what I envisioned @feyth_properties would be processing. We can talk in currencies but make sure there’s a million in the conversations," she said.

Kefilwe, who has a BCom in Accounting, is also an author. She co-wrote a book titled, 'Influencer De Luxe: From Soweto to Milan'.

The book looks at "how to build a formidable digital media brand profile".

Kefilwe also has her eye on the big screen! She shared a clip of herself in July recreating one of the scenes from the movie 'Bride Wars' starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson.

"Do you know where the danger is?! The danger lies where is’dima (one’s dignity) is nowhere to be found! I challenged myself to impersonate Anne Hathaway with my co-star, Chilla impersonating Kate Hudson. If I land myself a blockbuster movie starring role soon - don’t say I didn’t prepare you," she told her one million followers.

The chances of seeing Kefilwe in a blockbuster in the future are not as low as some would think. She was spotted mingling with some of the movie industry's biggest stars at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival in May.

Kefilwe graced the red carpet in a black gown designed by Gio Dress. She also wore a yellow dress from PAULE KA.

"There are moments that simply take your breath away and leave you speechless. Not because you have nothing to say but because your heart is so full with gratitude. This is one of them," she said about her appearance at the prestigious film event.

Kefilwe also danced the night away at a party that was attended by Bella Hadid and 'The Real Housewives of Dubai' star Caroline Brooks.

The sky's the limit for Kefilwe Mabote and she clearly doesn't need a man to get there!

"I consider myself a creative and believe creativity has no limits. I love storytelling and embody my love for it through my craft, so when the opportunity presented itself to make a cameo appearance in Savage Beauty – and now The Smart Money Woman – on Netflix, I grabbed it. It’s such an honour to lean into the film and entertainment industry not just as an actress but as an individual who built a brand strong enough to be featured in its true essence," she told BellaNaija Style in June.
