Stars flock to Italy for Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez wedding
We haven't seen this many A-listers at an Oscar party!
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are pulling out all the stops for their Italian wedding.
The couple have invited the who's who of the music, entertainment, sports, and business world to their three-day wedding.
According to reports, the Amazon founder has spent between $20 million and $100 million on their big day. Some reports put the figure at $116 million.
With a net worth of over $230 billion, he certainly can afford it.
Stars such as Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian have already started descending on Venice for the festivities.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, were spotted cruising on a taxi boat. The trio snapped dozens of selfies.
One hilarious image shows Kim posing for a picture taken by her sister Khloe. However, a paparazzi picture shows that Khloe was actually taking a selfie.

Kim shared the image on her Instagram Stories. "When u always think it's about u," she joked.
Other A-listers spotted at the pre-wedding celebrations included Gayle King, who recently travelled to space with Sánchez and four other women on Blue Origin's New Shepard human spaceflight in April.
Katy Perry, who was also on the flight, will miss the festivities as she is currently on her 'Lifetimes' tour. She was spotted at Sánchez's bachelorette party a few weeks ago.
Her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, is also friends with the couple and was photographed in Venice mingling with the other guests.
Bloom and Perry have reportedly called it quits but have not confirmed the split yet.
Oprah Winfrey, Usher, Ivanka Trump, Tom Brady and Bill Gates are also on the guest list.
Queen Rania of Jordan was also seen attending a welcome party.
Bezos proposed to Sánchez with a whopping 30-carat engagement ring in May 2023.
According to People magazine, the cushion-cut diamond ring cost between $3 million and $5 million.
Sánchez kicked off the festivities in an off-the-shoulder Schiaparelli dress.
"One of her best looks!" one social media user said.
Not everyone is excited about Bezos and Sánchez's wedding. Locals have slammed the extravagant affair, claiming it highlights the gap between the rich and the poor.
Some have even taken to the streets to protest. "No Space for Bezos," a banner placed at one of the couple's wedding sites read.
Protestors have also threatened to block canals on the wedding day to prevent guests from reaching the venue.
However, many social media users are not fazed by the lavish wedding.
"The most lavish wedding LOL. They’re disturbing the peace over there and the locals are NOT happy, but as a woman, I love that she is getting to experience this. Any woman would want to experience having a $60 million wedding if they could. The lap of luxury for real," one Instagram user said.
Bezos and Sánchez reportedly have an ironclad prenup in place. Though neither has confirmed nor denied its existence.
The tech billionaire's ex-wife, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, walked away with $38 billion in their divorce settlement.
Scott is a co-founder of Amazon. The couple started the company in a rented garage in 1994.
They allegedly did not have a prenup.
Scott has vowed to give most of her wealth to charity.
