Golden gentleman David Beckham turns 50

Football star David Beckham has turned the big 5-0.

David, affectionately nicknamed "Golden Balls", has officially become a golden gentleman after hitting the half-century mark on the birthday calendar.

The Inter Miami CF boss celebrated the milestone birthday on Friday, May 2.

His wife, Victoria Beckham, was the first to share her well wishes. She kicked things off on Thursday by sharing a throwback to one of their sweetest moments.

The Spice Girls singer shared a clip of them dancing to 'Islands in the Stream' by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.

"Happy birthday eve @davidbeckham… my everything. My best friend, soul mate and dance partner for life. Like the song says 🎶 We start and end as one, In love forever, We can ride it together, ah ha 🎵I love you," she wrote.

Victoria shared another video on his actual birthday.

It showed the former Manchester United star as a child and during his days as a footballer. She also included pictures of their family.

"When I look at this video, I think, 'Wow... how lucky am I!!' You’re everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham!!! I love you and our beautiful family endlessly. You complete me," she wrote.

The couple's fans also sent birthday messages.

"I have such deep admiration for this incredible couple. The way Victoria shares videos of her husband truly warms my heart; it reflects a bond that's rare and beautiful," one wrote.

Another fan added: "Best thing I’ve seen on the internet today! Happy 50th David. 🎂🎈"
