Connie Ferguson's close friends and family came out to support her during a tombstone unveiling for her late husband.

Aaron Arthur 'Shona' Ferguson died on 30 July 2021 at the age of 47. The actor and director died in the hospital after suffering COVID-19 complications.

Guests were asked to wear all-white to pay tribute to the 'Kings of Jo'Burg' star. Connie and her daughters, Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson and Alicia Ferguson, were pictured releasing doves at the ceremony, which was held on February 9.

Connie's grandson, Ronewa, also gave a speech at the event.

Shona's tombstone included a Hollywood Walk of Fame-style star with his name on it.

Celebrity event planner, Nono Events, shared pictures and videos from the ceremony on Monday.
