Actress Connie Ferguson almost broke the internet when she shared a picture of her latest magazine cover.

The Queen star has graced many covers in the past, but her latest shoot for the Sowetan's S Magazine has to be her cutest one yet.

Connie features on the Heritage Edition cover alongside her adorable grandson, Ronewa aka Ro. 

S Magazine editor, Thembalethu Zulu, says they decided to recreate an iconic portrait that has graced the walls of many black families' homes in the past.

"The original picture of the woman and child embracing hung on so many of the walls in our communities. We didn’t know who they were but you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who grew up before the 2000s who doesn’t know about them. 

"When I first had the idea to recreate the image for our Heritage edition, I immediately knew who would embody the nostalgia needed — Connie Ferguson," Thembalethu said about the cover. 

Connie says the cover is her favourite one to date.

"Thank you for choosing me and Ro to do this cover! Memories for decades," the 49-year-old wrote on Instagram.

Twitter users, including Minnie Dlamini, can't stop raving about Connie's new magazine cover.

"I stan this woman," Minnie wrote.
