Adele's emotional gender reveal for pregnant fan at Vegas show
Adele broke down in tears while helping a couple find out the sex of their baby.
Fans have been doing some crazy things at concerts like throwing a dead family member's ashes on stage, but sneaking in a sign to get Adele to announce your gender reveal is pretty smart.
A pregnant woman named Shantelle Lord attended a recent show at the singer's residency in Las Vegas. She was there with her husband, Chris Dare.
During the show, the New York couple held up a sign that read: "Adele will you do our gender reveal?!??"
Signs are typically not allowed at the 35-year-old 'Easy On Me' hitmaker's residency shows, but she couldn't resist making their dream come true.
"No one is really allowed signs in here. I'm just obsessed that you got one in. And I've never done this," she said as the couple handed her an envelope.
Shantelle, who is 18 weeks pregnant, said that they've had the envelope since she was 12 weeks, but were waiting for the show to make their gender reveal extra special.
Adele then announced that the couple is expecting a baby boy. The audience joined the couple in celebrating.
Adele was so overwhelmed by the gender reveal that she broke down in tears.

The couple took to social media after the show to thank Adele for being kind enough to do their gender reveal.
"@adele you are amazing and we will remember this night for the rest of our lives!" Chris wrote on Instagram.
Shantelle revealed in a post shared in July their baby will arrive in January 2024.
She will have an amazing story to tell her son when he gets older about how Aunty Adele, a 16x Grammy Award winner, announced his gender to the world!
