'Vampire' singer Olivia Rodrigo has revealed that she will feature on the soundtrack for the new 'Hunger Games' movie.

'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes', which will premiere later this month, is a prequel. The movie is based on the book of the same name.

It is set 64 years before the first book takes place, and focuses on the teenage years of the series' antagonist, Coriolanus Snow.

Olivia says she is excited to be involved in the upcoming film's soundtrack.

"Soooo beyond excited that I got the opportunity to write a song for 'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes'. My song “Can’t Catch Me Now” comes out November 3rd!!!!" she wrote on Instagram.

English actor Tom Blyth plays a young Coriolanus 'Coryo' Snow in the new 'Hunger Games' movie.

Oscar winner Viola Davis will also be making an appearance. She will play Volumnia Gaul - the head game maker.

Rachel Zegler will play a leading role. She stars as a female tribute named Lucy Gray Baird. She also has several songs on the movie's soundtrack, 'The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Music From & Inspired By)'.

'Euphoria' star Hunter Schafer (Tigris Snow), and 'Game of Thrones' actor Peter Dinklage (Casca 'Cas' Highbottom) are also in the film.
